California is the centre of the world’s off-road culture.

A few hours drive south from Ventura, CA with the trailer in tow starts the weekend off right. The anticipation as we cruise along the strip of concrete winding around the feet of dramatic dry rocky hills. Our bodies know all-too-well the adrenaline rush their about to experience. To our left a truck passes by with a shiny Honda CRF strapped to its back. On our right we pass Kawasakis jumping a supercross test track, conveniently located by the side of the road. As we drop down to Lake Elsinore, the expanse of dirt and tracks creeps into view. Soon everywhere we look we see kids on bikes, circled by fathers, brothers & friends. This weekend is going to be insane.
